TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About

Ella Designs is operated by:

Ella Designs provides bespoke wedding website design and digital wedding stationery design services.

​

2. Services

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Wedding Website Design (built using Wix)

  • Digital Wedding Stationery Design (invitations, welcome signs, table plans, table numbers, menus, place cards, wedding favour designs, apparel graphics and similar items)

All services are bespoke and tailored to each client.

3. Formation of Contract

A legally binding contract is formed when:

  • Dates have been confirmed & agreed, and

  • The 50% deposit has been received.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining 50% is due no later than 14 days before the agreed completion date.

  • No final files or website launch will take place until full payment has been received.

  • Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately and must be approved in writing before work begins.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all required content (names, dates, venue details, wording, preferences, imagery etc.) in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all information provided is accurate and final.

  • Respond to communication and revision requests promptly.

If you fail to provide required content or communication within 14 days of request:

  • The project may be paused.

  • Revised timelines may apply.

  • Additional fees may be charged for extended project management.

  • If inactivity exceeds 30 days, the project may be terminated and payments made will not be refundable.

6. Delivery of Services

Website Design

  • Delivered as a live Wix website.

  • Client will be granted collaborator access (not full editing control unless otherwise agreed).

  • The website is deemed delivered when it is live and accessible to the client.

Stationery Design

  • Delivered digitally via High Resolution PNG and/or PDF files.

  • No physical printing or shipping is included.

  • Files are deemed delivered once sent electronically to the client’s nominated email address.

7. Completion of Project

A project is considered complete when:

  • All agreed services have been delivered,

  • The website is live (where applicable),

  • Final design files have been sent,

  • All outstanding payments have been received.

8. Cooling-Off Period (UK & EEA Consumers)

If you are contracting as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

However:

  • If you request work to begin within the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly agree that work may start immediately.

  • If you cancel after work has begun but before completion, you must pay for the proportion of work completed.

  • If the service is fully completed within the 14-day period, you lose your right to cancel.

9. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellation

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel before work has substantially begun, you will lose your deposit only.

  • If you cancel within 30 days of the agreed project start date, the full remaining balance becomes payable.

  • If cancellation occurs after substantial design work has been completed, you may be charged for work carried out up to cancellation.

Cancellation by Ella Designs

If Ella Designs cancels the project for any reason not caused by client breach:

  • A full refund of all payments made will be provided.

If cancellation occurs due to client breach (including non-payment or failure to provide content), payments made are non-refundable.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in designs remain the property of Ella Designs until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment:

  • You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the final designs for personal use.

  • Designs may not be resold, redistributed, or commercially reproduced without written consent.

Ella Designs reserves the right to use completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

Ella Designs’ total liability for any claim arising out of the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. Force Majeure

Ella Designs shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to illness, internet failure, platform outages (including Wix), natural disasters or government restrictions.

​

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
